Ingredients
- 4 fl oz fresh watermelon purée
- Blended chunks or pulp OR organic store-bought
- ½ tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 fl oz sparkling water
- 2 fl oz Hikari or Kiwami shot
- 2 fl oz hot water, 3g Hikari matcha
- Ice

Recipe
- Make the matcha shot: Add 3g matcha to a mug or whisking bowl. Pour in 2 fl oz of 180°F water. Whisk in a quick "W" or "M" motion with your chasen until frothy.
- Shake the base: In a shaker, combine watermelon purée, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Shake vigorously without ice.
- Assemble your drink: Pour the watermelon mixture into a glass. Add ice and top with sparkling water.
- Top with the matcha shot: Gently pour your frothy matcha shot over the top for a beautiful layered effect.
