While Japan is known for its springtime cherry blossoms, many consider the early-blooming plum blossoms to be the true first sign of spring. Plum blossoms are in full bloom in Japan right now, and we wanted to celebrate with a drink that captures the season.
Bright plum juice beautifully complements the buttery note of our Hikari matcha, while seltzer ties everything together and elevates the flavors. Incredibly simple to put together and very refreshing, we hope you’ll appreciate a sneak peek of spring in each sip.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz Anna and Sarah organic plum juice
- 4 fl oz sparkling water
- 2 fl oz Hikari shot
- 2 fl oz hot water, 3g Hikari matcha
- Ice
Recipe
- Fill a 12 oz iced cup halfway with ice
- Add 2 fl oz of organic plum juice
- Carefully add 4 fl oz of sparkling water*
- Carefully top with 2 fl oz Hikari shot
*When combining sparkling water, be sure to do so slowly to avoid the drink from fizzing over!
